Re: Getting server error when trying to activate virus protect

hi,

I've done everything in the previous post re account holder and i only have 1 account linked to by ID, but I still can't activate Virus Protect. It has the big red banner saying "Server Error"

Thanks

Re: Getting server error when trying to activate virus protect

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Re: Getting server error when trying to activate virus protect

Hi @BennyP, sorry you're getting this error. As you've logged in and checked that your BTID is showing as the account holder and not account manager, and you've no other accounts linked to your BTID we'll need to look into this further.

I've sent you a Private Message so you can get in touch with us for help. We are busy at the moment so it will take a few days for us to get back to you.

Cheers

John

Re: Getting server error when trying to activate virus protect

I have come across this problem 3 times in the  last couple of weeks.

What is the resolution?  the user is the account holder.

Cheers
