I’ve done the same on both my iPads, iPhone and MacBook, but I still don’t get the passcode being populated in the text box
Any ideas where I can just see the passcode and could alternatively enter it on my Xbox?
within MyBT I can see it’s been setup as I get a ‘manage’ button which relates to an auto renewal in a years time
i had the 12 month ultimate pass, as a part of my full fibre 900 broadband package
ive also tried to call BT to discuss the passcode, but there doesn’t seem to seem to be an option to select
any help would be appreciated
Solved! Go to Solution.
I had to use a laptop PC ,
do exactly what you’ve done on the iPad and the code is there on the laptop.
hope this helps.
Ok, I’ll give it a go in Windows on my MacBook using Edge, as I tried on my MacBook, within macOS using Safari, but it did not work. My work windows laptop is locked down, so I won’t be able to use that to do this
Also, just noticed as I’d gone into the content providers section within MyBT and turned off auto renewal, it now says my pass will end 7th Sept 23, whereas before I switched the renewal off it was saying 7th Sept 24, so I think I may need to call BT to discuss, but I don’t seem to have found a related option using when I tried to call them yesterday, unless I route through to a billing query and hopefully someone can either deal with it from there or pass me onto someone
Thanks for your help
HI @Wibster and welcome back.
Did you get this sorted yet? Let me know and if you need help I'll be happy to step in.
Cheers
David
Hi, yes got it sorted
i think the issue was because I have a different Microsoft email to that which I use for BT, and in fact I didn’t need the code at all and it seemed to work
Many thanks
