Hi folks.
Hope all are well.
I wonder if a problem that I have could be investigated, on the off-chance that any BT colleagues review these forums.
In short, I cannot access my account details ("MyBT" > Log In) on BT.com, when using the FireFox browser (fully updated version).
Conversely, I can access the details using an alternative browser (I tested successfully with Google Chrome).
On FireFox, the login process culminates in an error page which specifies:
"Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand."
Here are some screenshots to demonstrate the problem:
Step 1: Enter Username -- this is fine
Step 2: Enter Password -- this is fine
Step 3: Get request for verification, via the sending of a code to my email address -- this is fine
Step 4: Enter the verification code (received via email) -- this is fine
Step 5: Receive error message -- "Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand."
I wonder, could this perhaps be looked at by a BT colleague (or colleagues)?
Ideally, I would like to stay on the FireFox browser, for a number of different reasons.
Thank you very much to anyone who has read my post, and have a good day folks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi again folks.
Not to worry, this problem appears to have resolved itself.
The solution was to:
1. Run a successful login to MyBT on Google Chome.
2. Log out of MyBT on Google Chome.
3. Log in to MyBT on FireFox.
Logging into MyBT on FireFox now seems to be fully operational.
Thanks for coming to the community and for sharing information on how you resolved this issue.
I am sure this will be really helpful for other customers who may have the same problem logging into the BT account.
Have a lovely weekend.
Leanne.
Hi there @Leanne_T.
No problem at all, and I am glad to join what look to be some very informative forums.
I hope my posts were of help to anyone experiencing the same issue.
