Just want to update if anyone needs help, I'm all sorted with my subscription.
I spoke to someone from the tech department on chat, who organised adding the sub to my account, and said my code would be with me in 5 working days, which it was. I got a call from a lovely man called Paul, who said that I'd be getting an email through with my code, which arrived straight away. I know its a pain that it's not working on the website, but everyone at BT I spoke to were brilliant.

hi BT Mod's I have the same issue as everyone else.
Upgraded a month ago - paid my first bill on the new package.
Go to redeem my code - error message and told to call up - phone advisors have no clue.
can you help?

I upgraded my BT Broadband to full fibre 500 which included 6 months free Xbox game pass ultimate back in June and I have never received any email regarding Xbox game pass activation, the 'add now' is on my account under my products but when trying to activate it I am met with....."
I've tried ringing the above number and options 1 & 2 but takes me to broadband problems and nothing to do with Xbox activation.
After reading this community forum I have noticed a lot of problems encountered with unhappy people trying to activate their Xbox game pass but with no luck.
So, this is what I am going to do if I do not receive an inbox message or a reply with an activation code for my free 6 months within 5 days......I will cancel my BT broadband account as BT has not adhered to their contract in offering me 6 months free Xbox game pass service.
I have spent over an hour on the web chat, telephoned BT and have been passed from one person to another who still can't give me an activation code. They promise you all these freebies to get you to sign up to BT and never follow through with their promises.

Thanks for your reply. I phoned and got through to an operator last week who promised to get a form to me with the details for activating the Xbox account, but I still haven't received it.
If by next week I still haven't received anything, would you agree that BT would then be in breach of their contract with me by not providing a specific part of the service? Wouldn't that free me from the rest of the contract, even though I'm only just over a month into it? There are ramifications for not holding one's side of a legal agreement.

I’ve yet to get an email after a broadband upgrade and like everyone else I get a message on attempting to redeem.
I upgraded my package also, am I supposed to wait for a code or something or try and redeem through the site?
