That isn't WiFi calling.

Obviously if you pick broadband only you can't use Digital Voice but PAYG isn't broadband only, it is broadband and Digital Voice. Call packages are extra, either PAYG or inclusive calls.

As stated you have mixed up a couple of terminologies, not helped by some ISP’s calling broadband WiFi, making WiFi calls over your broadband service using a suitable mobile phone and ISP , isn’t the same as having IP telephony (BT calling their version of it Digital Voice ) , IP telephony and WiFi calling in this context are not the same thing , to use BT DV you need to add telephony to your broadband as either PAYG  or Unlimited Minutes …with a suitable mobile phone you could  use WiFi calling without taking DV, with IP telephony you have a landline format telephone number , with WiFi you are using your mobile phone it’s just not connecting to a cellsite to make or receive calls , but connects to your home broadband via WiFi .

If you have a mobile phone that has the option of WiFi calling, you have to ask yourself if having a landline through DV is even worth it. WiFi calling at home using a suitable technologically equipped mobile phone as has been explained, does not need a cell mast to connect to make and receive calls. You may obviously be fully aware of this, but it seems many customers literally have absolutely no idea how WiFi calling using a mobile phone works, or their current mobile doesn't support WiFi calling anyway.
