Does anyone know how you get the +1 channels on BT TV. Our box is not connected to an outside aerial, only to the broadband.

Hi @Eddie5 , this is a full list of the internet mode free to air channels on BT or should I say EE TV.
As you can see, no +1 channels
Stew
The theory is that anything you want on a +1 channel, you can get via the backwards EPG, On Demand from the regular channel.
It’s not always true, but the exceptions are rare.
Problem solved by plugging it into the back of the TV rather than the Box
Yes, that way you can skip through adverts on the ITV channels as well!

'it' being? I'd always suggest having your smart TV plugged directly into an internet connection anyway so it can get firmware updates - if thats what you were referring to (although the TV Box Pro needs an internet connection too to get eg HD channels).
You are confusing putting the Pro box back into Aerial Mode with plugging the aerial in the TV 😢
With Pro, to get itv with skippable adverts, you need to be recording terrestrial TV, and both the words recording and terrestrial matter.
I reckon IP Mode on the Pro is for people without TV aerials, people who would not get any terrestrial reception even if they had one, and people who could only get Freeview Lite.
Though even with the Pro box in terrestrial mode, I would still use a further cable to link the aerial through to the TV, so I had the tuner on that as a second string.
@Eddie5 What was it you plugged into the tv rather than the box please? I want to be able to watch +1 and fast forward the adverts but don’t want to lose all my current recordings.
thank you!
If you have already set up your Pro Box in IP mode (all channels via broadband), the only way to switch to using the aerial and picking up normal Freeview is a full reset, which will erase all recordings and settings.
Why doesn’t Quote (“) work on this iPad?
”It” was the aerial connection, which you don’t need to go to the Pro box when it’s in IP Mode. So you plug that, if you have one that is, into the TV instead, and watch +1 channels directly on the TV.
