BT TV App Extra ?

Morning folks,

Just upgraded our BT TV package to HD/4K (no brainer for the cost!) and noticed one of the items listed on the email confirming this is "BT TV App Extra The most flexible way to watch BT TV on the go." 

Does this mean we can now watch programs on the BT TV App on a mobile?

Tried it last night and it wouldn't allow me to watch TV on the app but according to the link  at https://www.bt.com/tv/appextra it should work.

I believe the only channels that should be on it nowadays are BT Sport & AMC, Sky content is done via the Now app & freeview channels the relevant players
