BT TV Box Pro connectivity

Will this connect to any Broadband router? Looking to use as a freeview recorder but no longer with BT broadband. Or could I just use via aerial?

You need BT Broadband & an active BT TV sub to use IP. But it will work as a Freeview recorder via aerial. This assumes that you own the box as BT only loan them for the duration of the TV sub.
