Hi all,

So I’ve seen that Sky is now being their puck without the need for Sky Glass and the Sky Go app to Apple TV enabling customers to watch the majority of Freeview channels through it. 
could this mean BT pushes the ota freeview vis the bt tv box sooner and revamp their BT TV app?

BT will release it when it's ready. Rumours are that it's currently in the testing phase but no official word on a release yet. 

Also, BT TV isn't in direct competition with Sky. It's offered as an cheaper priced alternative.

What do you think they will realise

I'd imagine that it'll be released later this year but it seems to be more of a push by Freeview/Arquiva to provide backup IP streams for the terrestrial channels and deliver more HD/UHD channels
