BT-TV PRO BOX - Red recording light issue

I noticed this morning that our red recording light at the front of our box was on even though no programme was recording, I called BT and they got me to switch off the power to the box to see if the red light would go off after the box was restarted, and the red light had gone off. 

However its on our notes that if it happens again then a technician would be arranged to swap with a new box, hopefully it won't occur again, I just wondered if anyone else has suffered from the same problem?

HI @sea2dog Yes, I had the same issue 2 days ago, like you I powered off the box, and restarted and the recording light went out! 🤷🏻‍♂️

If it happens again please let me know as I will do likewise. 

Have you ever found that when you first turn the box on that the channel you hear first often stutters until you switch channels then go back to that original channel which sorts out the issue? 

On my picture and sound section under settings I have and use the following:

HDMI Display 1080p ✔️

HDMI Frame Rate Matching: Off

HDMI Sound: Stereo

S/PDIF Sound: Stereo 

Synchronise Picture & Sound: 0ms

Antenna Out: Off

Also which standby mode do you use, SMART (recommended) or Always Ready?

Hi @sea2dog  Hi,  never had the other issue you mention, but I see other have, on another thread,

for you info my setting are the same as yours excpet

HDMI Display UHD 10 bit

HDMI Sound: Surround

S/PDIF Sound: Surround

Standby Always ready.
