Hi,
I have just had BT Broadband and TV set up and had an extra BT TV Mini box as part of the package.
After trying to set this up by connecting it to the Wi-Fi, I keep getting the following message whenever I try to view a channel:
'We can see you aren't a BT TV customer. Why not visit bt.com/TV to find out how to get the best out of your box. If you've already signed up to BT TV, please call 0800 111 4567, quoting code BTP-15000 so we can finish setting up your account."
I have just been onto BT support to try to fix this, but we didn't get anywhere (after 50 mins going through the same issue).
The mini box is connected to the internet so I am assuming it is a BT issue?
Thanks
Is the main BT Pro Box working correctly?
Yes it is.
I suspect you have been asked to reset the box already?
Sounds like a provisioning issue and the multiroom box is not set up on your account properly.
I can't flag your post but one of the community team will likely be able to sort you out, they will be along to respond.
Hi @excox31, sorry that you were unable to get this fault resolved when you called.
If they were unable to resolve the fault after carrying out the various checks with you they should refer the case on to a specialist TV team. Did they tell you that we would get back to you?
Cheers
John
