Internet connection to box has suddenly disappeared. I connect via an Ethernet cable. I’ve restarted box, restarted router and done a factory reset and keep recordings but this hasn’t worked & box now stuck on connect to internet! Help! Thanks
Try another port on the router & another ethernet cable.
Are there any lights on the Youview box's ethernet port? Typically there should be one solid LED on one side of the socket indicating a physical network connection & the LED the other side will flash when data is transferring.
Hi, I’ve tried another port & Ethernet cable but still not connecting. There aren’t any led lights on either box or router, don’t think I have that anyway, see photos. Any other ideas please?
Hard to tell from those pics but that looks like an LED top right of the ethernet socket. Should be another on the left top edge. If neither are lit you have no connection. Routers, especially budget, tend not to have them.
If the other device connected to the router is working then it all points to a failed Youview box. If you have a current subscription BT should replace it.
