Hi can anyone help! Due to financial constraints I left BT broadband after being a customer for near 20 yrs in November.
BT insist I return the Yviewbox as it was registered onto my account in 2020
This is a line from the BT agents transcript;
on 1/12/2020 you had only phone broadband and mobile with us for £37.99 so this is added after 2020.
I even had the original BT Vision box, and a box ever since! We have just checked back at old recordings and have counted back 6years of programmes not deleted . So why do we need to return ours?

Hi @Trummy welcome to the community and thanks for posting, equipment provided after 13/12/19 has been provided on a loan basis and needs to be returned to avoid us applying a charge. If the Youview box was provided to you before this then you should be able to keep it.

Glad I was able to resolve this for you, as the box was issued back in 2016 there was no need to return it.
