I'm sure you're all aware of the late change in teams and kick off tim (I'm not entirely sure why on the latter) for the Championship playoff final today. Inevitably the EPG has not responded correctly to this. The planner is correctly showing Sky Sports Main Event as having the playoff final Hull v Middlesbrough starting at 2.30. Sky Sports Football still has Hull v Southampton at 3.30. Whichever I set to record (presumably the former) has dropped out of being set to record, so I've had to readd it. Everyone please check or you could miss it.
The change in kick off time is because the football league cannot sell two lots of tickets for the same event
Southampton v Hull had to be cancelled at 4.30 and a new game created for Middlesbrough v Hull at 3.30
If Southampton had won their appeal the original 4.30 kickoff would have stood.
Does that mean that the Hull City supporters will have had to be issued with new tickets for the new kick off time? It would have been a rush for the Middlesbrough supporters to get their tickets and travel arrangements sorted. At least the new kick off time will be better for getting back up north for both sets of fans, especially if it goes to extra time and penalties.
No
Hull city allocation still valid
