EE TV Box - Available Apps

Go to solution

Hi.

Im having EETV installed with a Fibre upgrade on Tuesday (20/08) because keeping Discovery+ with TNT Sports was cheaper that way than any other option. So was wondering what apps are available on the EE Pro box as i can't find any info on what is actually available. I ask because that determines where the box will go ( Living room, Bedroom or back in its box after Openreach leave :D)

Many thanks!

I can confirm that STV Player is also available outside of Scotland.

Re: EE TV Box - Available Apps

The list seems to be missing

EETV app

The official order of the apps follows the Youview User Interface policy.

Some boxes may  have home pages that present some featured apps in different order.

the official order has national variations so is different for  England /Scotland (STV regions) and Wales .

so STV and S4C apps get prominence as the PSB players in their regions with ITVX  and Channel 4 player apps moving down slightly in the order,  Otherwise outside Scotland  (STV) and outside Wales (SC4 Clic) apps get placed well down the order eg after bbc Sounds.

@zulu17 I inadvertently missed the EE one out, assuming it would be an obvious one, with it being EE TV.

Fibre installed today too. Oh. My. God! What a difference in speed and the fact i can do multiple things and not impact any one of them - im like a kid at Christmas.

Will be putting the EE Box in tomorrow. Hoping they're not that much of a pain to do. We shall see what we get.

Thanks for the app info.

Got bored, so decided to put the box in.......

Its now since been removed and everything reverted back. It'll be a bedroom job. 'nuff said!
