Some Communities don’t allow you to message people unless you have completed a certain number of postings in the Community.

Maybe that applies here?

Oh that's unexpected, sorry there is indeed a minimum message level before the DM feature is enabled, but we've been able to get that lifted for you, so you should be good to go.

There was an issue in the past, with people posting unsolicited private messages without actually posting on the forum, so that feature was enabled.

Still having issues, BT have contacted me to say they have raised a fttc4 fault.  They mentioned its most likely a multicast issue

Regrettably, persistent issues remain despite considerable troubleshooting efforts with BT via telephone. Despite repeated assurances of background fault resolution, the problem persists after nearly two weeks. While BT reports escalating the fault to TMC, we have yet to receive an update. Assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
