EETV EPG Airing Break from Wed 11 June

Notice that the EETV EPG has a lot of  "Airing Break" entries for varies NOW/Sky Sports channels listed in the EPG guide on EETV.  Channels with these entries include Sky Sports Tennis , Sky Sports News.  These seem to start from Wed 11 June and continue on subsequent days.   Expanding the Airing Break info  gives  "No Scheduled Programming". as the decription.Searching "Airing  Break" gives 123  instances  under ON Now & Later for current future programming.

Any idea what is going on with the EETV guides ?

Re: EETV EPG Airing Break from Wed 11 June

The EETV/NOW EPG is populated  by a third party company, with information supplied by Sky. What you are seeing sometimes occurs, given it is often on the sports channels, which by it’s nature has a lot of live programming,  I suspect it is because Sky are still finalising the output.  It usually resolves itself within a few hours, or the following day. Extremely frustrating when it happens but not a lot we can do but wait until it is resolved

Addendum: Sky’s online EPG only goes up to the 11th, although future planning past that will be ongoing of course

Re: EETV EPG Airing Break from Wed 11 June

Well the  (non supplied correct) programme  information is available on I believe all sites other than EETV EPG so clearly whatever process is in place is falling down.  If there is a third party not performing their role effectively then this should be addressed , out of interest who employs/ contracts this third party is it Sky/Now or EE  or Youview ? The EPG is key to EETV Youview.

I normally report these issues when it is clear that the existing processes are not resolving the issues so in this case the issue has not resolved itself in a few hours or the next day.

You may well be right @zulu17  I have no insider knowledge other than what I observed in the past, and speculated upon 😛

Re: EETV EPG Airing Break from Wed 11 June

No worries @GarethPrice -

There are actually also no sensible proramming in the EETV EPG currently for a further two Now Sky Sports channels from 5am Tuesday 10 June  onwards  for Sky Sports F1  and the linear Now Sky SportsPlus channel. Again this hasn't cleared itself for several days. (those channels have  the "This is Sky Sports F1 or Sky Sports+) rather than programmes in the EPG.

Yes, I see what you mean @zulu17 , although I’m getting “F1 Highlights” on Monday the 9th and Tuesday 10th and “The Home of F1” interspersed with “F1 GP Canadian Highlights from Wednesday 11th onwards on the Pro Box EPG (F1 channel)

Re: EETV EPG Airing Break from Wed 11 June

Same problem with Sky Sports F1 for the entire weekend from midnight on Thursday. Hopefully it will be resolved by then, I'm hoping to record something at midnight that is never on the catchup service. I've just spoken to a Chat person who appears not to understand the issue at all, and is telling me to do a complete box reset losing all recordings, which I doubt will be any help.

@MartinJSUK

This issue will be resolved later today, possibly into tomorrow 11th June.

Behind the scenes some services are migrating and causing these 'Airing Breaks'. This will stop happening as there is now auto reporting in place to flag the issue before they appear on the forward EPG.
