Re: EETV

@DarrenDev  I assume you're referring to your G5 though @gomezz (Recordable Box 4K) which has always been blue. You're long overdue an upgrade, which I'm pretty sure you can get for free.

I got the email telling me I could get a new box but the box I have works fine.  Would I have to return the old box as there are quite a lot of recording on there I have yet to watch?

(plus  I have been more concerned about not being able to login into MyBT for several months - now resolved)

If that particular box was ordered before 13th December 2019 then it remains yours.

My understanding is that it the recorded "order date" of the specific box that is used to check whether, or not, it is classified as before 13/12/19.

If the date is on or after 13th December 2019 then there is a late return fee.  The late return fee is currently refundable if the box is appropriately returned within 2 years.

The current late return fee for the BT TV 4K Recordable Box (G5) is £115.

Re: EETV

Actually the box is a replacement box for one that failed. The original was before 2019 but the replacement was after 2019. How does that affects the returns policy? Or do I just pass off the original failed box and return that?
