Error: E001 Invalid system ID

We had a problem with are satellites dish which we got fixed and it work for a couple of week, then the BT box wanted to update or search for stations which it  kept failing to do. now it keeps boot looping and after a couple of minutes doing that we get the Error E001 invalid system ID. What do I do? Dose that mean I need a new BT Box?

Hi, @Deborah-Broomfield welcome to the community, I'm sorry to see you're experiencing issues with your BT TV. 

I haven't come across this error before and can't find any faults that relate to that error code. As the box is boot looping I'd recommend trying a factory reset using the buttons on the box to see if that helps. Post back and let me know how you get on.
