I am hoping someone could shed some light here as I have been on hold on the phone for ages!
We are having our broadband upgraded to fibre (and our TV) and the Openreach engineer is here now running the cable from the box to our house however, we haven't received our Pro Box as there is a delay in sending this.
He says the router needs to be moved to the window near to where the new fibre box is being installed but our old tv box needs to be connected via a cable which is on the other side of the room, question is will the old box work & record without a broadband connection until we get our new wireless pro box?
Hi @pointer772001 I'm sorry about the delay getting back to you, you'll still be able to view and record Freeview channels but the internet provided and on-demand services won't work without an internet connection.
