HD Channels

I am disappointed with the range of HD channels via BT/EE. Why is there no ITV4 HD for example? Or the other channel 4 channels.

Can anyone advise? Is there any plan for BT/EE to add more HD channels?

Re: HD Channels

Freeview is limited to the amount of HD channels it can offer due to the way it is set up.

If you have a Pro box and take out the areial you can reset it in Internet mode and you will get more in HD but less choice of channels, but hopefully BT/EE will add more in future.

Current list of channels in BT/EE mode are below:

Re: HD Channels

All the ITV and channel four channels are in HD.

But they aren't all there. Some channels are missing altogether, but could be available if BT/EE could ever reach agreement with their suppliers.

Re: HD Channels

Wow, ok.. that wasn’t in the setup guide. I will do that.

Presumable those channels are recordable as well? E.g. Tour de France highlights on itv 4 in HD?

They are recordable on the Pro box but you can't skip the adverts

Re: HD Channels

I suspect @Weerab1983  may have confused channel 4 family of channels with channel 5 in the earlier reply on available HD channels on the Box Pro in IP mode.

Several of the channel 4 family of channels are not in HD  eg  E4, Film 4 , More 4 , 4 Extra are not in HD on the linear channels on the Box Pro.

Re: HD Channels

Do I have to do a factory reset to switch to IP mode to get the extra channels in HD?
