How can I identify free-to-watch programmes on my basic NOW TV package? It used to be simple to look for the Entertainment list but that no longer exists. It seems every film or show I select takes me to a page asking for more money. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi @Helen123 ,
Assuming you have the BT TV Entertainment Pack then that would give you access to live programmming on the channels in your subscription from the EPG (Guide). Typically that pack would also include Netflix and Discovery Plus (basic) content on the apps.
So you could open the Now app and with the Entertainment membership the content listed under TV Shows and Kids should all be available to you. (You would in the Now app not be able to view Movies or Sport or Hayu content without further subscription).
Of the other apps available on the BT TV Box , all content on the BBC Iplayer . All4/Channel 4 , My 5 , Uk TV Play, STV Player,Milkshake, CBS Catchup, S4C Clic should be free.
The Netflix app content should be included too assuming that you have it included in your BT T V Entertainment pack (some legacy older packs did not include it)
The ITV (ITV X) player has a lot of free content but also has a Premium category which requires additional subscription.
The Prime Video App has a "Free with ads" section called Freevee. Other sections involve additional subscriptions or purchases.
The Bt Tv player has I believe currently a Show Free to me /Show All option but I think that may only on its Home page displays.
The Discovery+ player would have all the non sports content available.
Thank you so much for your detailed reply. I've gone into the Now TV app, selected TV Guide, found a movie called The Outfit half way through, the app asks me if I want to watch live or (from the start I imagine) from the library. So I've chosen 'from the library' and sure enough it has taken me to a page offering the 'latest deals'. This is not what I'm after.
There used to be a selection called Entertainment on the Now TV app going horizontally across the screen showing a loop of tv shows and movies etc , any one of which you could select with no further charge. These free programmes may still exist with the app but it is impossible to find them without individually selected movies lets say and then being taken to the 'pay more' page time after time. One soon loses interest!
The app is 'included' in my price and yet I can't find anything 'included' to watch? Any further suggestions relating to the Now TV app navigation would be gratefully received.
From the Now app home page, arrow up once to the menu at the top of the scree, which will highlight in blue. Right arrow twice to TV shows & that's "Entertaiment". You can then scroll down the various tile categories, which include genres & individual channel names. Nothing in there should be chargeable.
Thank you!
Easy when you know how. Found something to watch from Sky Atlantic and nothing to pay yipee!
Kindest Regards.
Hi, is the entertainment package just TV shows please? I found the answer hard to interpret from your reply.
On passing, I have been assured on several occasions by BT staff that I can access 300 boxsets, I can find 33 all of which are under movies and none of which I can access.
I hope you can help me, I am extremely frustrated with this.
Jon
What exactly are you looking for? Box Set in this sense is just a name for an on demand TV series.
