Hi @Jack007 and welcome.

Please get back to us after your call. I'd be interested to know the outcome.

@57mo Please also let us know how you get on with it.

Re: IPC 6023 AND 6011

Hi @57mo and thanks for getting back.

  1. Press the Home button on your remote.
  2. Navigate to settings (a cog icon on the top-right of your screen).
  3. Navigate to ‘broadband connection’.
  4. Select ‘Change connection’ and follow the on-screen guidance.
  5. Place your TV box within 5 metres of your Smart Hub.
  6. Restart your Smart Hub and TV box so they can reconnect.
  7. If you cannot have the TV box and Smart Hub within 5m of each other, extend your home wi-fi signal with Complete Wi-Fi.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers

David

Re: IPC 6023 AND 6011

Full fibre broadband went on and off for about 1 hour, the BT TV came back on at 10.30.
it would appear it was an Open Reach issue. Now back to 100%

Re: IPC 6023 AND 6011

Tried all that on Saturday. Even BT did it remotely. Told me there was a fault and it would be rectified by 7pm Monday. BT TV has now come back on as of 10.30am this morning after Full Fibre broadband went off and on intermittently for 1 hour.
I think it was a problem with Open Reach somewhere.

Re: IPC 6023 AND 6011

hi @57mo please let us know how the change that @DavidM mentioned works for you.

If you are still seeing IPC6023 error messages it's possible there's an underlying broadband connection issue that might be causing those. I'll drop you a direct message to get some more details and run some checks for you.

Thanks

David

Re: IPC 6023 AND 6011

I have given up and will be cancelling my VIP package due to IPC6023.  This is so stupid.  The engineer decided not to come for my scheduled visit today because he couldn’t find parking.  What kind of BS is that.  How can BT knowingly sell a faulty product?!  Why is it ok for this error to occur for so many people?  Do something about it, BT.  You guys suck
