What is the point of a mini box if you have a smart tv? It won't record, it won't pick up recordings from your main box, so it seems to do no more than the smart tv does. Can anyone shed any light, am I missing something??

Re: Mini Box
You are able to view your subscription channels from your mini box which are delivered via multicast. A smart tv won’t have your subscription channels in the EPG as far as I’m aware.

Hi there @Buxtons
Thanks for coming here 🙂
If you have the EE TV Box Mini, the The EE TV Box Mini | BT Help page has full details.
Hope this helps.

Re: Mini Box
I think the main purpose is to view your subscribed channels on another tv and having IP channels (limited ones I admit) without buying a freely tv (although these aren't available in 40 or 32 inch TVs or smaller that I can see, which would be more suited to second or third tvs in my opinion)
