My EE version Pro Box is on Plusnet & the settings icon is present & correct.

Maybe try a power cycle to see it that sorts it out?

@markbloke  it will  I believe be YouView providing a TalkTalk skin based upon the ISP configuration  value on a EETV box that has the EETV/Sagemcom/YouView updated software that happens to be connected to another of Youview Partners,

So I suggest you send email to info@youview.com . This is not a normal customer support contact point but is listed as contact point on official Youview sites, for issues that don't fall into standard YouView partners categories.  .  Effectively  based upon your description the updated home page you have been provided on your RTIW387 YOUVIEW BOX  which is connected to a TALKTALK broadband line is lacking the SETTINGS button which is I believe one of the features  they (YouView) state is provided and needed to operate the Youview service.

Let us know how you get on... they may try and bounce you to EE or TalkTalk but I suspect the issue will get to the right people.

  @rbz5416  Plusnnet is not a YouView partner so would typically have generic home page.
