I don't think there was a problem with the box and don't think it's a pro. It records (2 channels at once), backs up and accesses catch up tv. Hope it's not being got rid of.
If you are subscribing to EETV (which you mentioning the internet channels implies that you are) and you haven’t got a Box Pro, then you are being short-changed. Ring BT and request one. And if you got your existing box before December 13th 2019, then it’s yours to keep, so ignore any return bags BT might send you, unless you don’t want it any more.
But if you are just a non-subscription YouView box user, or a subscription user declining to update, then anything later than the DTR-T10x0 is still being supported.
DTR-T2xx0s are getting a bit slow now, and can’t support demanding apps like Prime Video, but DTR-T4000s are still quick, and carry Prime Video.
All the new stuff is only coming to Box Pros, though, e.g. the long-awaited YouTube.
Thank you very much, we are BT subscribers, though I know it's now EE but don't know how that affects us. I will definitely check out if we can get a pro.
I have bought a new TV like the old one but updated. It's set up but get No Signal when trying to connect the box which is a DTR-T2100/500G/BT/DF/NS model code 91-00931. Thank you for all your help. You said we might br eligible for a Pro. Our subscription covers Apps such as ITVX and channels such as Sky Atlantic but not the sports or film channels.
