Non-Factory RESET of a T4000

I've had my T4000 since mid 2017 & its been 100%    ... however lately it locks up when exiting from the Prime Video App & needs a Re-Boot to recover  ...

A reset (saving Recordings) would seem to be in order - but I just cant get it to enter the Reset Dialogue & Menu ... pressing the Down Arrow for 10 secs etc does nothing !

Any ideas please ?

Are you powering off your box first? I find the simplest way is to turn the power off at the wall socket, hold the down button on the top of the TV Box, then turn the power on. Don't let go of the down button until you see the maintenance mode message appear on screen.

Thanks - I was actually just trying that having read that the Box has to be PO then back up before holding the DOWN Arrow ....

So - much appreciated - the Reset has run - now to re-hide the 27000 Channels - LOL
