@MartinJSUK  I would suggest that you look to record tonights Monday Night Football on Sky Sports Main Event  or Channel 5 .

That's perfect, thank you, good thinking. I can do Thursday Night's game that way too, though not the weekend, hopefully it will be resolved by then. Not sure whether to cancel the service visit.

It is up to you - nothing you have described wrt to the NFL recordings suggests a box issue and there is clearly a problem with some of the data on  Now Sports EPG channel guides on BT TV if only someone in BT would bother to chase up the issue.

I've cancelled the appointment. It's all rather frustrating, the ability to record these channels is one of the main reasons I upgraded (with a lengthy new contract) and it's very frustrating that it only works reliably for some channels. Potential customers need to be made aware that this is bordering on false advertising, nowhere is this issue mentioned.
