Hi all.
As the headline states I can't get Now TV activated after renewing my subscription and adding Now Sports onto my original package. The changeover date was 29/10/24. My order is stating pending at the moment.
I can't access the app either due to the login procedure not recognising the username.
There is a slight backstory here that it's my ageing in-laws account (they're not computer literate) so I managed to change the e-mail and log in etc through the settings and I now control the account.
I have seen elsewhere on the forum that it can sometimes take till the next payment for activation. Should I just wait till then and see what happens ? Seems a bit antiquated if that's the case.

Welcome to the community.
You could wait until the next payment to see if it activates then, or if you contact our Customer Service team, they'll be able to have a look into this and see if they can get it activated sooner. They may need to speak to the account holder though.

I noticed on another post that someone had a similar problem and there were conflicting e-mails.
That could be the case with this account as that was the reason I took over the management of the account. I went through the proper procedure in My BT Account to change the account manager. The Now TV account is linked to my father in laws original BT e-mail address which (try as I might) I couldn't access. Nor could he as he was never computer literate and now has Alzheimer's. He just wants to sit and watch football all day, hence the upgrade to the Big Sports package.
