Pairing with app

I have just got a new BT TV Pro box and it won’t pair with the app on either my iPhone or iPad 

BT have told me that it cannot be done at the moment but I an wondering if anyone have a workaround for it?

There's a known issue at the moment that you can't pair over wi-fi (it won't find the box). Connect an ethernet cable just long enough to pair with the app, and then you can disconnect it.

Unfortunately I am using Ethernet to connect but it still doesn’t pair

It says no BT TV box found

If your phone is connected to the same network then step 1 is to reboot everything - phone, router, set top box, and any WiFi repeaters or switches.  Then try again.

If that doesn't sort it then try a maintenance mode reset of the set top box - the pairing service has been known to die, although this will be the first case I've heard of it happening on the Pro box.

Update to my problem
I have just tried to pair the box and without doing anything it worked with no problem!!
