Re: Pixilation

In which case it points to a fault with the aerial or the aerial lead

Re: Pixilation

@MrsBloxby I agree it does sound like an aerial issue. As you have a Pro box have you considered not using the aerial? It's possible to steam freeview channels in internet mode.

Thanks

Neil

Re: Pixilation

@MrsBloxby the link I previously posted explains this in more detail. There are a few downsides such as the amount of freeview channels available, you can only record two channels at the same time but I'm sure it would stop the pixelation if it's being caused by the aerial.

Firstly you need to remove the aerial from the BT TV pro box, then perform a factory reset.

  1. Switch power off by removing the power cable
  2. Press and hold the reset button on the right-hand side of the box
  3. Plug the power cable back in whilst still holding the reset button – continue to hold the reset button down, do not release it yet
  4. Within three seconds press and hold the power button on the front of the box and hold both buttons
  5. Release both buttons a few seconds after the BT logo appears on the TV screen

Then when you're going through the set-up steps you need to choose the Stream TV channels from the internet option.

Thanks

Neil
