Pro Box connection to Samsung TV

Go to solution

Just connected my EE Pro Box to new Samsung QE55S93F TV. On start/after standby up it reverts to Samsung native interface .

How can I stop this please ?

If it's an EE device you are probably better on the EE forum, as they are more familiar with EE equipment.  Your question sounds like one we had a few days ago.  Try this:

The TV Box is the same, regardless of BT or EE.
This is a question about Samsung TV rather than EE TV though - i.e. how to prevent the native interface from overtaking the connected HDMI source.

@tuanton Google suggests the following should help:

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung TV remote.
  2. Navigate to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Select General or System, depending on your TV model.
  4. Find and select Start Screen Option or Startup Settings.
  5. Toggle off Start with Smart Hub Home.
  6. Restart your TV to apply the changes.
