Random Partial Recording failures (DTR-T4000 Box)

Currently getting a regular random partial failure on scheduled recordings.

Mostly series linked recordings that start to record but stop either shortly after or about half way.

There does not appear to be any issue with the scheduling guide, either clashes or incorrect YV guides times, just the box stopping recording, always indicated by the half red circle against the program when you go to view.

It does not happen on every recording but is getting very annoying - anyone either having the same issue or experienced this problem?

Appreciate any input - especially if it avoids having to do a full reset and lose all recordings.

Thanks,

Re: Random Partial Recording failures (DTR-T4000 Box)

Hi @JB76 I'm sorry to see you're experiencing issues with your recordings.  You can do a factory reset and keep your recordings, I'd recommend giving that a go first to see if it helps.

  1. Switch the box off and then back on again. A red light should appear on the front panel
  2. Press and hold the down arrow button on top of your box for five seconds until you see ‘Enter Maintenance Mode Y/N’ at the bottom of the screen. When you see this, press the standby/power button
  3. After a few seconds you’ll see the ‘Maintenance Mode’ menu. Choose and select Factory reset, keep recordings using the arrow buttons. This option will allow you to keep your recordings, scheduled recordings, and any personal settings you've made to favourites and playlists

Thanks

Neil
