UHD with Mini Box

Have just connected mini box to my new TV LG G2 and everything seems to be okay but I cannot find the UHD content on iPlayer. Have ticked the Beta in the iPlayer settings but there's no UHD content there. Using the Pro box in a different room and all the available UHD is there. I'm assuming the Mini does UHD?

Are you using multiple devices for UHD 4k viewing  simultaneously as that may affect your bandwidth. Eg if you have one  device viewing UHD  or have not released that UHD stream then if you use  a second device it may not detect enough bandwidth to offer UHD viewing ?

No, that can't be causing it - both boxes are wired to router. And, it happens when using the mini box only. Full fibre 900.

If it is easy .
Have you tried either the   Minboxwith your other Tv or the BoxPro with your new TV to see if the IPlayer UHD appears ?

No, not yet but that was my next move. Thought I'd post here just in case it was something obvious I had missed. Will try that tomorrow morning. I'm beginning to think it might be a setting on the tv if the box is innocent.

OK, so mini box is showing UHD content when swapped over with main box. Obviously some setting on new TV needs amending. Will investigate and report back.

Perhaps I should explain how I have this connected.

Using an amp with disc player and BT mini box connected. Discs are playing 4k HDR no problem. Only the mini box not showing UHD content on iPlayer. Mini box is obviously not the problem as it works okay when connected to different tv. The tv is not the problem as it does show UHD on the iPlayer when connected directly to router, bypassing the mini box.

Tried the main box with new tv and that's not showing UHD either.

Swapped a HDMI cable between mini box and amp but still no joy. Only thing left is to swap the HDMI cable between amp and tv. But that cable shows UHD OK when viewing 4k discs. Any settings on amp would affect the disc player also so not that. Not sure what's going on.

Box has now frozen on Select Preferred Region page during set up so no more play for today.

Restored to defaults and went through setting up procedure once again. Now flagging up UHD content. Your guess is as good as mine.
