I need to unpair my Samsung tv controller from pro box controller and go back to 2 controllers. How do I do this please?

Re: Unpair controllers

I'm not sure you can, as the process is automatic. But try disconnecting the box from the TV & then resetting the remote. You can reset your remote by holding down the Home and 9 buttons until the light on your remote flashes.

TV pairing is done  by identifying the TV across the HDMI cable, so disconnect the cable first. That may be skip the pairing, but it might also  establish the pairing as soon as the cable is reconnected. You'll just have to try & see.

Re: Unpair controllers

You may be able to remove some control functionality in the menus on the Samsung TV:

All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC): off

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!

Re: Unpair controllers

Many thanks for replying.  I couldn’t get into tv settings at all because of the pairing which was why I needed to disconnect. I’ve got the 2 controllers separate again now.
