Upgrade Netflix in full work's package

Was wondering if anyone knows why there's not a manager Netflix box to either upgrade to UHD/4K..

As I've no options for to upgrade or downgrade so as it's a fully flexible package it's seems rather odd especially as it can't be upgraded through Netflix themselves either as it's BT/EE TV that manages the account...

Was thinking of perhaps upgrading for the month as would like to take advantage of uhd 4K over the festive period.

I've phoned BT/EE who don't seem to know either rather odd especially after over 1hr 30mins being transferred repeatedly to different departments.

Re: Upgrade Netflix in full work's package

Hi @roger4269

There is an addon to upgrade from Netflix Standard (which is what i believe is included in full works pack)  to Netflix Premium. I believe (according to BT Price Guide of 6 December) that is £5/month).

BT or EE customer service should know that.

If you use your My BT app do you see an option to manage your  BT TV addons  eg Netflix.

Re: Upgrade Netflix in full work's package

Absolutely I agree 💯 but it doesn't show the management box for netflix at all in my manage TV extras but i can manage everything else that's included with VIP/The WORKS as it's now called I'm hugely disappointed with the service from BT especially given the premium price we pay for the packages.

I've been asking about this since October and I had the TV package removed as it's an ongoing issue as was being told 2 old accounts had been closed off but they clearly hadn't been it's dreadful really is.

I have memory issues so hence why I asked for 2 old accounts to be removed as obviously caused me huge issues..

But since getting EE TV again last week as I'd been reassured all was sorted out only to find out nothing has actually been resolved so all the old issues have returned with these 2 questions.

Re: Upgrade Netflix in full work's package

I suspect @roger4269  there is an issue with your account . (I can see options to manage Netflix on MYBT so the functionality to manage still seems there.) Who managed your account fixes in October , was it the TV experts or Mods on the community or the normal customer service team ?

As an aside it looks like BT are increasing the addon supplement to Netflix Premium by £2 on January 19th 2024.

Re: Upgrade Netflix in full work's package

That's the thing it's been at management level plus BT advisor has been phoning nonstop for as long now too.

It's also been looked at by the main mods on here via back room team's.

I've paid good money from October for the TV package untill I said enough is enough but obviously not said everything was fixed so I gave it another go & placed the order and it to be honest I'm absolutely sick of it now as not had anything refunded for the TV service since day 1 either it's a shambles plus I had to fix my own broadband issues too after the BT open reach technician couldn't fix it....

Seems the cable with the sh2 was faulty so that caused a lot of broadband issues too.
