What does the move to HBO Max for streaming TNT Sport actually mean in practice?

The app has been available to install since midnight @MartinJSUK - if you search for the HBO Max app in the Play Store, does it show that it's available?  It won't install automatically.

Downloaded and seemingly working, thanks. I was under the impression that it would install automatically, my apologies. The acid test will be what is available to watch after it has screened - ideally full as-live, one-hour highlights and few-minute headline highlights.

The HBOMAX app just appeared on my EETV box i didn't even have to log in, i had to log into the HBOMAX website, Discovery plus is still working whether that gets shut off i don't know.

@spireflyer for those who were subscribed to an EE TV package before today, the access to discovery+ will remain for the foreseeable future (as long as the EE TV subscription continues).

For customers who had discovery+ through EE Mobile, the discovery+ subscription will be disabled within the next 2 weeks.

New customers won't be provided with access to discovery+, as it's no longer a product that EE sells.

OK my package runs out in May but i can renew today with a increase, the HBOMAX works fine didn't even have to log in through EETV box.
