iplayer

To watch on iplayer I first need to switch off home hub then switch back on and wait....for blue.

If I don't do this I can open iplayer,choose a programme but then it returns to tv without "launching".

This getting a little trying......I have reinstalled iplayer but no change.

It also sometimes happens with googling.....won't open websites but is restored by switching the hub off and back on.

Help welcome,thanks.

Re: iplayer

Hi @OldBob13

What device(s) are you running your iPlayer app on .

Is it on a EE TV or  BT TV box  or directly on your smart TV  or on any other box or device ?

Re: iplayer

@OldBob13

Sounds like something wrong with your hub, rather than iPlayer or even the Samsung, especially as you get the issue with Google, and that presumably not on the TV?

Perhaps someone at the BT/EE end can take a remote look…

Do you use any other apps on the Samsung TV, and if so are these affected also?

Perhaps you could try that, itvX or Channel Four first thing instead of iPlayer, see what happens.

Re: iplayer

thanks for that - yes,I suspect the hub too.
I use no other apps on the telly but will try ITVx or Ch4 as suggested.
