Why does the login not auto insert name BUT inserts password when clicking in password slot?

That sounds like auto-fill by your browser; if so you'll need to amend it there if you want.

Autofill was all correct for Edge etc.. but the BT new login page kept removing it. Gave up in the end and left it as it was. thanks for your help.
