Btemail app for iPad won’t SAVE pictures to “8th generation iPad photos”. We have 10th and 8th generation iPads. There is the facility to SAVE pictures received in an email to photos on the 10th Generation iPad but not now on the 8th Generation IPad. Has a link not been provided for the 8th Generation iPad user during the recent upheaval of bt email; it was possible to SAVE pictures until recently? As a temporary work around we have forwarded emails with pictures to gmail and SAVED pictures from there.
Have you tried using a different mail app?
Although if you can't save screenshots either, the problem appears to lie with Apple
If I forward an email containing a picture to my gmail address I can SAVE it on the iPad from there. So, it’s odd that the iPad can save pics from gmail but not from BT. I used to be able to save pics direct from BT emails to the iPad but not since the work on the BT platform. It’s only the 8th generation iPad that’s affected, not the 10th generation iPad. Both iPads have the same iOS version.
Actually, I find that the screenshot DID save.
I repeat, have you tried a different mail app?
Yes, gmail and pics can be saved from there.
I think he means have you used a different email app to access your BTMail account to see if that saves them. If it does then it is obviously a problem with the BTMail app, which would not be a surprise.
I am afraid I wouldn’t know how to do that. I am not aware that somebody else’s email can give me access to Btemail.
You are not using somebody else's email, you are using an email app to access your BT email account.
You could use the Mail app that is already on your Apple device. You set it up to access your BTMail account in the same way as you set up the BTMail app to access your BTMail account.
