Just bought a new laptop and logged into BT Mail and all is as usual, but now writing emails I seem to have lost the facility which underlined in red any spelling mistakes. Any ideas how I can get this back? Fat fingers make many typing errors!!!

The spell checking is part of your web browser not BTMail.
You need to turn on the spell checker on your web browser.
This can be found with in the the settings of the browser. How exactly to do that will depend on your browser so if you are not sure how to do it try a "turn on spell checker in (name of your browser)" search of the Internet.
