My email address has been removed from my account and allocated to an unknown account.
my phone number is still correct for security resets but with knowing the other account security questions I can no longer access my email.

Can you give more details as to what has happened and how you know this?

No nothing, had some odd emails from Linkedin the day before I could not longer login, hence I think it’s been hacked
BT support say it’s been allocated to a different account and can not move it back as I don’t know the security question for an account that is not mine and why would I

My bt email address is no longer linked to my bt account.
spoken to BT support about logging in issues and they told me that it is now linked to a account that is not mine!!
I have had the btinternet.com email address since the early nineties.
