Dear BT,
I feel compelled to yet again complain to you re the issues I am having with my email ,
This matter started in April 2024 when you changed the BT internet email UI.
I have explained the issues I am having with many BT advisors who constantly inform me they have raised the issue with ‘ their specialist team’ but to date nothing has changed re the issues .
I used to get a text message informing me I would be receiving a phone call update , each call informed me the specialist team were working on the issue and it would be resolved within a few days.
To Date over 4 months later the issues are exactly as were .
The issues are .
When using safari to access emails vis BT.com, if I write an email or a reply approx. 3-40 seconds into writing the reply the whole email, ie what I have written disappears !.
This has been demonstrated to a senior technician from Currys PC world who stated he had never seen anything like this .
PLUS
If I use Google chrome to access my emails via BT.com then when I wrote a reply or a new email at approx. 40 seconds into writing the email the cursor, [ ie line demonstrating where the next letter is going to be ] goes straight to the top start point of the email ie the cursor goes straight to where I have written Dear Sir, ie the cursor creates the following :
About to foll Dear Sir , you can see the part of the email I am composing just goes straight to the initial point of the email .
This makes it almost impossible to write an email, I have had to resort to every email I write or reply to has to be composed on a Word doc then cut and pasted to the body of the email prior to sending .
This has been going on for over 4 months with. No resolution therefore I feel this has to now be escalated to the highest point within BT in order to get this resolved as a matter of urgency as I am sure you will agree I cant keep working as I have been.
This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers and will not be able to deal with any issues relating to your email account.
If you would like to search this forum, there are plenty of posts regarding BT Webmail issues, and possible solutions.
OK apologies just at my wits end as no email address to make a complaint to
Why not simply use Apple Mail (or whatever mail app you have on your Mac) to deal with email rather than Safari or Chrome.
