I am using Gmail on Android. Sent messages arrive on my PC where I am not using Gmail, but they are not arriving on my Pixel 6 which is running Gmail: 2023.07.16.550911454. However, they do arrive on an ancient Samsung tablet that is running an older version of Android and Gmail 2022.10.02.482844008.
Hope that helps
So that shows it is a Gmail problem rather than BT
Until Gmail sort out the issue, I would suggest uninstalling updates on the Gmail app. This resorts to the version that came with Android.
Also disable auto updates in the PlayStore network settings to stop it updating again.
Great idea Did the same on an old Moto: version 2023.04.02.523594694. Everything running on that as normal. Thanks for the tip.
In the end I uninstalled updates to GMAIL, so I'm now back on version 2021.07.11.387440246.
OnePlus 6 phone, Android version 6, Oxygen version 11.2.2
Weirdly, mine is now sorted. I did uninstall and then reinstall yesterday but only fully cleared today (Sunday). Must be a secret worker with BT and/or Gmail. Hopefully everyone else will now be ok.
One thing I have noticed though is that the Gmail widget won't load if you set the default account to be BT and your in box...
Still done work to do for someone.
Not a big issue to have Gmail set as the default and switch accounts.
Hi all,
My bt email address will no longer sync with gmail on my android handset, I have loaded bt email app and that works, but i can't add my gmail account to this app.
Is this a bt or gmail issue?

Blixen
I deleted my account and reloaded it last night and it's now syncing ok. It had been out of action since 4th Aug. Fingers crossed it's been fixed.
