I used to have this set up properly so that the BT account/s were the webmail I looked at occasionally for time-critical authentication but Gmail was my actual email client.
At the moment it doesn't seem to be working quite right.
Tried to set forwarding/autoforwarding which doesn't seem to work naturally, despite reporting autoforwarding ON. When I try explicitly forwarding by hand I get a copy that is harder to read as it comes through quoted. Do I need to do something with incoming and outgoing mail servers explicitly, and tell Gmail how often to trawl for new mail? I can't see how I set this up in the first place.
This is more annoying than it used to be as it's some years since I set the original system up, the BT email is uncomfortable to read through webmail, and I've just changed mobile phone.
@Wub welcome back to the community and thanks for posting, I believe the Gmail app allows you to add other email accounts so it may be possible to add your BT email account details to the Gmail app to pick up your BT emails that way.
As it's not a BT app I can't give you instructions on how to do this but there are many online guides. Other community members may have this set up and may contribute to the thread later.
The guidance on googles help pages can be found on this link.
Thanks
Neil
