Inbox emails suddenly all disappeared with no warning

Hello

Can anyone help me please.

I logged onto my BT email this morning and all of the previous emails in my inbox have disappeared, save the last few weeks. I have checked carefully and they are not in trash or in any other folder. I didn't delete any of them nor have I received any warnings etc. that they were going to be deleted. They have just vanished. All of my sent emails are still there in the sent folder. This is a disaster really. How can I get them all restored?

Make sure that the "Conversation" View is not active. To do that log onto your BTMail account and click on "View" in the menu bar at the right hand side. Scroll down and Single click "conversation view" to toggle it on or off.

If it is on it groups your emails if they are using the reply to function.

Thanks for the response. 

Forgot to say that I had already checked that. My inbox is definitely not in conversation view and my inbox emails are  grouped as you say. The previous emails have just mysteriously disappeared without warning. How do I get BT to restore them?

This has happened to me as well. All Sent email History is there. Inbox History is available on my phone but  not on my computer. I hope BT will resolve this as soon as possible.

Have resolved this by pressing conversation view.

If they are grouped as I have said it means you are in conversation view. Click it once to toggle it on or off.

Thanks for the reply.

I have clicked on conversation view to toggle it on [the font of the word "conversation" changes to a light purple colour] and then clicked to toggle it off [the font of the word "conversation" changes to grey]. I have done that several times. I have similarly toggled  on and off every other view setting. I am currently using my preferred Right view setting [the font for the word "Right" has changed to a light purple colour] and the emails in my inbox are grouped by date ["Today", "Last Week" etc.] . I have logged out and back into BT Email several times. I have restarted windows [grasping at straws here - I am using windows 10, fully up to date, and chrome]].  I have tried ticking and unticking the sort inbox box in settings which I saw you mention in another thread on this subject. All to no avail - all older emails in my inbox before a few ago are still missing. I am getting a bit desperate now. Is there anyway that a BT moderator can restore my inbox, please?

Same thing here

All email in the Inbox prior to 6th July 2024 is missing. Only the Inbox is affected. This is not a conversation mode issue.

Any help or insight appreciated.
