New email address

Hello

Being sent round in circles by the BT help & their instructions.

I have a BT premium email  & have 2 additional addresses (had another couple but seems to have disappeared sometime ago after some of their changes)  & now want to setup another but the box show in their example doesn't occur!!  Also rather confusing is the Account holder & Account manager. I've tried both (I think)

On their CONTACT PAGE In trying their contact button seems permanently on.  I'll try phoning but pretty sure that's no use either.

It might be a BT ID problem, but am able to log in & see I'm the Account (holder or manager can't remember now) but  think it was the one required to setup the new address.

Any suggestions would be very  welcome.

Re: New email address

The BTPremium Email account holder is the person who can set up email accounts.

The account holder should be able to access and manage email accounts, which includes setting up any new email accounts by logging on to their MyBT with their BTID and going to "Your Products" then "Email Manage".

It should show the the account type, and in your case it should be "Premium". It will also show how many of the 11 email addresses associated with the account have been used.

You should also see how many active email address your account has and what the email addresses are.

There should be a button "Create new email address".

You can check to see if you are the account holder or manager by logging onto your MyBT and going to "Account Details".

The Account manager has limited access. It can see the email accounts but as far as I am aware does not have the ability to set up email accounts.
