I have had a btinternet email address for longer than I care to remember!
Since Monday night, none of my btinternet emails have been downloading to Outlook - either on jy laptop running Windows or mr iphone or ipad.
I can access them via the BT website and I can see them on the Mail app on the iphone.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it?
Are you either a BT broadband customer or paying for Premium Mail? If neither, your email account will have been downgraded to Basic Mail which is only accessible via webmail.
Thank you for your reply - do you know if this 'downgrade' has been recent ....?? I have had this email for years without broadband.
It has been the case for many years now but with BT's usual incompetence many folks have been getting away with it. As you have discovered, BT catch up eventually.

They'll say you need to pay£7.50/m for Premium Mail if you wish to continue using Outlook 365
