Phishing

I have received an email from btcomms@info.bt.com addressed to a gmail account I use .

You recently told us you wanted to reset your password for My BT.

Reset your password here

For security, you can only reset your password using the above link for 24 hours from the time we sent this email. After this, you can use the link to ask for another 'reset' email.

You can also manage your account using the My BT app . All you need is an Apple or Android phone, and your BT ID.

If your "notification" email address that BT would use to contact you about your billing/broadband etc or the back up email address you supplied to BT is not the gmail address that received this then it would appear to be either a scam or somebody who is trying to reset their BT account password has given the wrong email address to BT.

I've had a 2 of these in the last 2 days to my btinternet email address. Sender is the same as above. All the links look ok. Forwarded it to report@phishing.gov.uk

I have also had a second email on same subject to a .gmail address which is not associated with my .btinternet.com email account.
