Thnx for that gg. Have done a soft reset.

1.  Still very slow getting to the BT login page (from the BT. com webpage) and even slower getting from there to my Inbox. Also very slow logging out, so I will be in touch tomoro with the Mod.

2.- As for the greyed out tabs I mentioned. I've found they only remain greyed out until I either tick the box( aside of an email received) or open the email to read it all. Is this the way it's supposed to be? I don't use my BT email very much.👍

What happens when you are using the Internet, do the web pages open correctly or are they also slow?

Is this the way it's supposed to be? I don't use my BT email very much.👍  That is how it should be. You can not reply etc to any email until you select it. How else would the system know what email you were dealing with.

Thanks gg for all your helpful suggestions. All web pages and other email accounts are opening fine, its only the BT Email.
I have just sent my info via Private Message to Robbie Mac so hopefully find a solution.

Just a quick update. Problem has resolved. Just logged in to my BT Email and MyBT without issue. The problem suggested by NeilO has been an email server issue. Resolved with thanks.

If you are using Chromebook go to settings and set google manual and not auto
